Welcome to the second issue of the Pearson TMRS Newsletter! We are pleased to share with you the highlights of our recent research activities and accomplishments. In this newsletter, you will see an article from TrueScores (Dr. Twing’s blog), recent publications and conference participation of TMRS staff, seminars that were presented or will be presented by TMRS staff, awards received by TMRS staff, reports on the experience at Pearson from summer Fellows in Austin, Iowa City, and San Antonio, and description of the new Pearson Research Grant Program.

ERME/TE and C&I Annual Potluck 9/14/08

Hi all:

The 12th edition of the ERME/TE, C&I annual "back-to-school" pot-luck party was another great success--big turnout of students, faculty, staff, and friends, excellent variety of tasty food (I'd really like some pork ribs next time), really interesting conversations, no rain, relatively few mosquitoes--and no kids squished by the stones! Enjoy the pictures--they start with some party preparations you weren't aware of, then some shots of everyone in the humidity fog (while the camera adjusted), and then all the action.
